Apple has recently put out a maxed out variant of its flagship iPhone 11 smartphone which is called the iPhone 11 Pro Max. This phone has the prominent feature of the new triple camera set up which is the first time we see such a set up in an Apple phone. It features the A13 Bionic chip which promises efficient performance of the phone. We have detailed some of the main features of this phone below for you.
Display
The brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 6.5 inches Super Retina XDR OLED touchscreen display for a bright luminous screen display. The screen uses a scratch resistant glass that protects your iPhone and is in addition to being scratch resistant, more water resistant and splash resistant than the previous models of iPhone.
Camera
Apple has worked a lot of the camera set up of this phone and finally introduced the triple camera design for this variant. While other smartphone companies had been miles ahead of Apple in introducing the triple camera set up, Apple took it’s time to dive into this trend. The triple camera set up consists of a telephoto lens, a wide angle lens and an ultra wide angle lens of 12 MP each. This new camera can record almost professional quality videos at 4k quality at 60 fps.
The night time photography in the iPhone 11 Pro Max is absolutely mind blowing with highly exposed pictures even in extreme low light environments. The selfie camera has a 12 MP and it also shoots 4k quality videos, however, the selfie camera is located in a notch which runs the appeal of the phone a little.
Performance
iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with the iOS 13 operating system which includes all the latest features of an iPhone. It runs on the A13 Bionic chip that is often claimed as the fastest running chip among all other phones. The storage variants available are 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB of internal storage. All of these variants have 6 GB of RAM. When it comes to battery life, the iPhone 11 Pro Max has the longest battery life when compared to all previous iPhone models and helps it run up to 5 more hours than the iPhone XS Max. It has a Li-Ion non removable battery that can last up to 20 hours of talk time. It can be charged with an 18 W charge which charges about 50% of the battery in half an hour.
The phone comes in four colors – Midnight Green, Space Grey Silver and Gold. The retail price for the iPhone Pro Max starts at about $1199.99 which makes it quite expensive from the iPhone 11 Pro even though the two share a number of common features. There are a number of other brands that are offering smartphone features for a much lower price tag, however, Apple tends to price its phones based on the name that it has created for itself and those that love the brand will still want to buy from it.
